VICTORIA WHYNOT & Michele Conte – Turn Around – feat Eric Powell Remix

“Turn Around” is a high-energy Peak Time Driving techno collaboration between Australian producer Michele Conte and Argentinian artist VICTORIA WHYNOT, arriving on 23rd Century DGTL on 17 April 2026.
The two artists first connected in Ibiza at the International Music Summit and the Pete Tong DJ Academy Awards, where both were recognised as Future Talent award winners—Victoria in 2024 and Michele in 2025. After hitting it off musically, the idea of collaborating quickly followed.
When Michele returned to Australia, Victoria had already followed up with messages and ideas. Michele began shaping the first sounds and sent them across the world to Argentina. What followed was a creative exchange of new elements and ideas, and within a few weeks the pair had built a powerful club track.
“Turn Around” merges driving techno with rave house nostalgia and acid energy. The track opens with infectious grooves, vocal snippets and a massive 90s rave synth hook before taking an unexpected turn into a fierce acid-house workout designed for peak-time festival floors.
The track quickly caught the attention of Carl Cox, who premiered it as his opening record on the main stage at the legendary Awakenings Festival during his return after a six-year absence. Footage of the moment was later shared across social media by both Carl Cox and Awakenings, sparking a wave of messages from fans asking for the track.
Michele and Victoria were prepared to self-release the track. In a twist of fate, Michele later met Eric Powell and told him the story. Eric and Carl loved the track and signed it to 23rd century —going one step further with Eric Powell delivering a remix for the release.
A story of global collaboration, rave heritage and a series of uncanny coincidences aligning perfectly—“Turn Around” arrives as a standout techno record bridging generations of dance music culture.
